I Quit Sugar

I thought I’d make a little one-stop-shop for those interested in quitting sugar.

I’ve written a post here on Flair To Remember covering this subject in a bit of detail, so that’s worth a look if you’re interested.

I highly recommend Sarah’s Wilson’s eBook ‘I Quit Sugar’ as a starting point. It’s only 40 odd pages, $15 & offers an 8 week guide to cutting back on fructose in your diet. Definitely give that a squiz, you’ve got nothing to lose by being informed, I say!

From there, I’d suggest reading David Gillespie’s “Sweet Poison ~ The Quit Plan”.

If you’ve got 1.5 hours to spare I’d strongly suggest viewing Dr Robert Lustig’s lecture “Sugar – The Bitter Truth” ~ this was a pivotal eye-opening moment for me in regards to wanting to learn more about exactly what we put in our bodies.

I definitely can’t finish up without recommending Food Inc. This is a fantastic & terrifyingly honest American documentary on the food industry. Perhaps then you’ll join the health-conspiracy-theorist camp with me?!

Please comment below if you’ve got anything to add or any further questions! I’d love to hear from others who are interested/concerned/curious/baffled!! It’s all a journey!

Fantastic; Where do I buy the books ‘I Quit Sugar’ & ” Sweet Poison” Cheers

    • Hi Rolf!

You can purchase the books via David Gillespie’s website.

I’ve had a look online & they are also available via Fishpond & there seems to be some more information on Penguin, although I’m not sure if you can purchase on their site.

      Hope this helps!

PS: alternatively, you could visit your local library & see if they have them?
